Did Buyerlink Inc. Provide Additional Context or Comments?

In 2024, all Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) submitted to Buyerlink were carefully reviewed in accordance with the CCPA and CPRA. Requests were denied only in limited circumstances, including when no responsive personal data was identified, when the request did not pertain to privacy rights under applicable law, or when the requester’s identity could not be verified (for example, due to an unconfirmed email address or phone number). To ensure proper handling, Buyerlink sought clarification from requesters when submissions were unclear, permitted authorized agents to submit requests upon receipt of valid proof of authorization through the DSAR form, and verified each requester’s identity via email or text message. Relevant systems were reviewed for responsive data in each case, and denials were issued only after these steps confirmed either the absence of matching data or an unverifiable identity.
